The Countryman’s Fair is held biannually in the glorious grounds of Werrington Park Estate near Launceston. It attracts over 8000 people from the surrounding area of Devon and Cornwall, who come to enjoy the many country activities.
These include a fishing area, with competitions, clinics, and fly casting demonstrations. Clay Pigeon area, with 50 Bird Sporting and 25 Down the Line Clays. Dog Show, for family and gun dogs, ferret racing, helicopter rides, canoeing, and a packed main ring including:
Eagle & Vulture Show, Chris Green Wildfowler, Katy Cropper Sheepdogs, Gamegoer Gun Dogs, Fun with the Young Farmers, and lots and lots more.
A large Fairground area with over 150 trade stands and catering on site, what more could you want, for a fantastic Family Day Out
